With shelter-in-place and social distancing, many of our people are feeling isolated, stir-crazy, or just hungry for conversation (especially senior adults because they are being told to be most careful).
It is not that hard to gather your people through video/voice chat (e.g. using Zoom.us) for facilitated retreat sessions. It's a great way to continue to provide spiritual support and community to them (and give them a good opportunity to continue financial giving).
Our downloadable tools will give you talking points, handouts (that can be easily emailed to your people), and everything else you need to get started.
Many of your parishioners use video chat tools all the time. Ask around to find one who would be willing to help you with the technical aspect. Briefly test out the process and technology with some staff members or volunteers. Then set some times and invite parishioners to participate.
