Lighthouse Confirmation Peer Ministry Program Introduction

The Lighthouse Program is about befriending, caring for, and helping Confirmation candidates celebrate their Confirmation in ways that encourage them to begin their journey into adult faith. 

This booklet provides program directors with the rationale for the program and practical steps to set it up in your church or school. 

For the program you will need the following booklets:

• Leadership Sessions: 1 for each high school leader
• Peer Ministry Sessions: 1 for each high school leader and each Confirmation candidate
• Prayer Services: 1 for each high school leader and at least 1 for every 2 Confirmation candidates (if you are going to have them share)
