As a religion teacher in a Catholic high school, I found these prayers to be of great use for the prayer before class. My students enjoyed them because they are straight from the heart and they identified with both themes and words. For the most part, they are spontaneous prayers, which the young person, after careful thought, composed with all sincerity and faith.

This book would be of great use for religious educators, priests, teachers, and youth ministers in schools, CCD programs, and youth retreats, since they offer thanks and praise as well as their deepest yearnings from the heart.
