Praise

The roster here is a greatest hits of American writers, not all of whom are regular travelers in the religious or spiritual domain. And that, perhaps, is what makes this a notch above the usual gathering.

The Chicago Tribune

This is the kind of book you can dip into whenever you need a little inspiration; every page has some, so just open it to a random selection and enjoy.

Spirituality & Practice

The anthology is refreshingly not pious, and could be a suitable gift for any nonreligious friend who appreciates a good read. The self-identified person of faith will see in these pages the Gospel message.

Catholic Library World

This book will stay on my shelf for a long while. Gift yourself and say thanks to a friend at Christmas.

Spirituality

Inspired ideas, stories, essays, poems, meditations, and testimonies from great writers that will add gladness to each of your days.

Good Reads

This is another powerful and thought-provoking book in “The Way” series that Orbis Books has made available to those searching for something worthwhile to add to their library. The Way of Love is a collection of reflections, anecdotes, poems, sayings and love notes by well-known authors, philosophers, spiritual writers and others on the triple themes: Love, Love of God, Love of Neighbour that go to make up the book. I found the selection made by the editors very apt, inspiring and spiritually uplifting. This book is perhaps one of the best of ”The Way” series so far and I would gladly recommend it to anyone who is searching for writings on the meaning of true love which encompasses the double dimensions of Love of God and Love of Neighbour. These two dimensions of true love are closely interrelated and inseparable, and they serve to authenticate each other.
