Is any soul beyond saving? When Elizabeth's friends go off to college and leave her behind, she thinks things can't get worse. Then she stumbles into a fight between vampires and realizes … they definitely can.

Forced on the run with Christopher, a vampire outcast who might be in even more trouble than she is, Elizabeth is left to rely on nothing but her faith in God and Christopher’s impulsive choice to protect her. But the more time they spend together, the more Elizabeth realizes that Christopher is close to breaking in more ways than one.

As their bond deepens and their enemies close in, Elizabeth must find a way to save him and herself—before it’s too late. This riveting, genre-bending first installment of the In Aeternum trilogy unites the suspense of urban fantasy with the Christian drama of sin, grace, and redemption.

Book 2 coming January 2026! Recommended for ages 14+.

Praise

Couldn’t Put This Down. I pre-ordered this book to add to my summer reading list. It was cool to see it signed by the author, Sister Allison. It made me think about the power of prayer. This was a good story. I read it in a day, because I lack self-control and I wanted to know what would come next! Great for people who like genre-bending. The characters were realistic, but I didn’t get to learn everything about them yet. I can’t wait for the next one (or two)!

Fantastic mix of vampires and Theology. I read quite a lot of fantasy books, and it was incredibly refreshing to see such a unique take on a vampire novel! You get the classic action expected from the genre mixed with a healthy dose of God's love and forgiveness. Elizabeth and her faith are a good example for someone of any age of what a personal relationship with God through prayer can look like. I enjoyed the read, and eagerly await the second book!
