Search Me: A Way of the Cross in Solidarity with the LGBTQ Community acknowledges shared human experience as a means to grow in relationship with God. Each of the traditional stations of the cross, the events leading up to Jesus’ death and resurrection, are paired with reflections from members of the LGBTQ community. Praise
Christ always takes the side of those who are the most excluded, rejected, or ignored. And so we can easily imagine Christ taking the side of LGBTQ people, who are still today persecuted in many places and suffer for who they are. These beautiful new Stations of the Cross invite the LGBTQ community to enter into the mystery of Christ's suffering, even as he enters into the mystery of theirs, promising them not only to be with them, but to give them eternal life.
