Sunday Eucharist only makes sense when it is connected to our Monday through Saturday lives. Bill Droel persuasively makes this argument in this compact book that is wonderful for adult education, RCIA, youth, young adults, and more. "I contend," he says, "that the Eucharist can provide a perspective, a lens, a pair of glasses, a map, even an engine to give order and meaning to the seemingly isolated and routine events of life. My claim, of course, is invalid if Eucharist is synonymous only with Sunday worship. The Eucharist, as used here, is a Sunday-carried-through-to-Saturday dynamic-- what I call Monday Eucharist."
