A parent-facilitated, at-home session • Use this time of social distancing as an opportunity to bring parents into the process!
This simple session gives parents and guardians the tools they need to begin a conversation with their children—from pre-school through high school—about relationships, sex, and sexual abuse. This is not a virtual event facilitated by parish leaders, but an event that parents can easily lead all on their own. Share this first step in a process for helping their children to understand and navigate the ever-changing world of relationships.
As a next step, consider the full Conversations about L.I.F.E. program, an affordable, once-a-year, whole family program facilitated by parish leaders. It empowers families to talk more deeply about these issues in an age-appropriate way.
