The Journey of Faith Series Journey of Faith for Advent and Christmas Student Workbook

The Journey of Faith series is designed for ministry with the younger adolescent, roughly ages 10 to 13, and is based on a seasonal model of ministry developed in response to requests from our partners in ministry.

The Pray It! Study It! Live It!®: format in each chapter addresses the need for younger teens to learn about their faith and offers a variety of suggestions to help this age group participate in parish community life. Activities introduce participants to parish ministry and involvement through active parishioners who are willing to share their experiences and motivations with the younger generation.

These seasonal resources attend to the developmental needs of younger teens and focus on helping young people recognize their faith as relevant to their lives.

Advent offers young people a chance to think about others and to consider gifts from the heart, not necessarily from the mall. This student workbook for Journey of Faith for Advent and Christmas is for the younger adolescent (ages 10 to 13) and accompanies the leader's guide. Materials offer opportunities for list-making, journaling, responding, and more . . . all focused on the seasons of Advent and Christmas.

The leader's guide, sold separately, offers eight chapters and a retreat and includes all the materials found in the student workbook, with directions for their use.
