Perfect for Children's Liturgy of the Word or Lectionary-based catechesis

Imprimatur from Most Reverend Edward U. Kmiec, D.D., S.T.L., Bishop of Nashville

This book offers a reproducible worksheet for every Sunday gospel in all three liturgical cycles (years A, B, and C), with each reading presented in script format. Little or no staging directions or props are needed. Included with each play are discussion questions to help children understand the gospel better and to incorporate its message into their lives.

These scripts follow the suggestion from the Directory for Masses with Children that “When the text of the readings lends itself to this, it may be helpful to have the children read it with parts distributed among them, as is provided for the reading of the Lord’s passion during Holy Week” (#47).

The plays are most suited for middle school students, but can also be used with younger and older students.
