Encounter with the Holy
A Contemporary View of Belief and Prayer for Christians in the Modern World

Secular Holiness

Encounter with the Holy will lead you into the heart of Holy and Gracious Mystery—the Holy One who dwells within and among us—using plain, poetic English. It explores how we encounter the Holy as we listen for the echo within where we hear the divine voice that sounds in our hearts.

Powerful. Life-changing. Whether or not you belong to a church.  Responds to our inborn hunger to go beyond ourselves. Ecumenical. Includes suggestions for a new vocabulary of prayer. All in plain, poetic English that will stay with you forever.

You will read and re-read this book, mark it up in the margins, pause to ponder on the mysteries, and then buy copies for everyone you know!
