Kate Ritger is an oblate of the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. She currently serves as the caretaker of the Common Ground Garden, a ministry of the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict, where she combines caring for the earth, growing food, and building community around a vibrant local food system. Kate has also served in campus ministry, hospital chaplaincy, group spiritual direction, and retreat work. She is the coeditor of Prayer in All Things: A Saint Benedict's-Saint John's Prayer Book (Liturgical Press).
