Word of the Week - 2021
One-Page Bulletin Inserts with Cartoons, Reflections, and Questions of the Week

A bargain at only $2 per week for unlimited copies!

This downloadable, reproducible resource combines insights on the Sunday readings from two of our other titles into a convenient single-page resource.  Include it weekly in your parish's Sunday bulletin or reproduce for general use in your parish.  It's also a great tool to kick off brief Scripture-based sharing at the beginning of parish meetings or at home.

Each handout includes:

  • A cartoon from The Sunday Flock by Jean Denton, along with a short Bible quotation, and a "Sheepish question" for pondering.  It will get your people's attention!
  • A reflection on one of the Sunday Readings and two questions of the week, drawn from The Catholic Way: Breaking Open the Word by Ann Naffziger.  Her practical, relevant, daily life insights are a great starting point for faith sharing and deeper reflection into the week.

Purchase of this resource also gives you full free access to The Sunday Flock for the same year, in case you want to use the cartoons in some other way within your parish.
