This is a PHYSICAL BOOK with a free companion eResource discussion guide (see below).
Seven Last Words—Jesus's final sayings from the Cross—reach far beyond Good Friday and the hill of Calvary. They speak to today's believers, summarizing Christ's final instructions about all that is important for the Christian living.
With his final words, Jesus calls his followers for times and all places to forgive and be forgiven, to care for each other, to turn to God always, and to understand suffering and death as the doorway to eternal life. Seven Last Words: Lenten Reflections for Today's Believers explores the true meaning of these ultimate statements in a series of seven prayer reflections, suitable for Holy Week, all of Lent and the entire year.
Reading and reflecting, individually and with others, on these powerful last words of Jesus will bring deeper meaning to Lent and illuminate the true purpose of contemporary Christian living.
Seven Last Words will appeal both to individuals and to Lenten discussion groups.
