Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace
Praying with St. Francis of Assisi

With the exception of Jesus himself, it is difficult to name a figure in the story of Christianity that is more compelling than the little poor man of Assisi. The spirit of St. Francis transcends the journey of his life on earth – the Franciscan story continues to capture and release disciples and believers from not only the Christian story, but also amidst spiritual seekers from a galaxy of religious traditions. In this book, David has provided a structure of prayer, as well as provide other patterns, rituals, practices, reflections and insights, so that individually and in community, we can come to know Francis better and make his journey, his unique charism and wisdom, part and parcel of our own spiritual life.
