Ann Naffziger has her MDiv from the Jesuit School of Theology and MA in Biblical Languages from the Graduate Theological Union, both in Berkeley.  Ann has worked in a variety of parish roles, as well as serving as a hospital chaplain, spiritual director, scripture instructor, and lecturer at the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University. She has written articles in the field of spirituality and scripture for AmericaBustedHalo.comCommonwealThe National Catholic ReporterSpiritual Life: A Journal of Contemplative Spirituality, and other publications. She is also a Master Gardener and girls' softball coach.

Arthur E. Zannoni is from Roseville, Minnesota (a suburb of the Twin Cities) and is an award winning freelance writer, Scripture scholar, teacher, theologian, workshop leader and consultant in the areas of biblical studies and Christian-Jewish relations. He taught on the faculty of the School of Divinity of the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN) from 1984-1991 and in the Murray Institute from 1991-1994. He helped establish, in 1985, along with Rabbi Max A Shapiro, the Center for Jewish Christian Learning at the University of St. Thomas. He is a two-time recipient of the Uhrig Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching and received the Temple Israel (Minneapolis) Interreligious Award for his work in promoting Catholic Jewish dialogue in the Twin Cities.

Zannoni, a prolific writer has published numerous articles in periodicals as well as editing two books and authoring four. He is a two-time recipient of awards for excellence in writing from the Catholic Press Association. He is an engaging speaker and a master teacher who combines the best of scholarship with humor and clear explanation.  He is also the author of Journey through AdventJourney through the Scrutinies, and The Gospel's Legacy: The Seven Last Words of Jesus, Spoken from the Cross.

The father of two married adult children, a nineteen year old son and a grandfather of five grandchildren, he and his wife Kathleen live near a lake in Minnesota.

As a religious educator, Phyllis Wezeman has served as Director of Christian Nurture at a downtown congregation in South Bend, Indiana, Executive Director of the Parish Resource Center of Michiana, and Program Coordinator for ecumenical and interfaith organizations in Indiana and Michigan.

In academics, Phyllis has been Adjunct Faculty in the Education Department at Indiana University South Bend and in the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. She is an Honorary Professor of the Saint Petersburg (Russia) State University of Pedagogical Art where she taught methods courses. She has also been guest lecturer at the Shanghai Teachers College in China.

As founder of the not-for-profit Malawi Matters, Inc., she develops and directs HIV & AIDS Education programs with thousands of volunteers in nearly 200 villages in Malawi, Africa including “Creative Methods of HIV & AIDS Education,” “Culture & HIV-AIDS,” and “Equipping Women/Empowering Girls.”

Author or co-author of over 1,950 articles and books, she has written for over 80 publishers.

Phyllis served as President of Active Learning Associates, Inc. and as a consultant or board member to numerous organizations such as the American Bible Society, Church World Service, and the Peace Child Foundation; leader of a youth exchange program to Russia and the Ukraine; and Project Director for four Lilly Worship Renewal grants. She is the recipient of three Distinguished Alumni Awards and recipient of the Aggiornamento Award from the Catholic Library Association.

Wezeman holds undergraduate degrees in Business, Communications, and General Studies and an MS in Education from Indiana University South Bend.

Phyllis and her husband Ken (who met when they were in second and third grade in elementary school) have three children, five grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Janet Schaeffler, OP—an Adrian Dominican Sister—has spent many years in parish and archdiocesan catechetical ministry (most recently as Director of Adult Faith Formation for the archdiocese of Detroit). The author of hundreds of articles and several publications in catechetical and parish ministry, her articles can be found in The Priest, Catechetical LeaderCatechist, Ministry and Liturgy, etc. Janet currently accompanies others on their faith-journey through days of reflection/retreats, parish missions, workshops, catechist formation opportunities, adult faith formation opportunities, Myers-Briggs explorations, and online courses.

Jean Denton is a cartoonist, illustrator and journalist. Her "Flock" cartoon feature has been running in the North Texas Catholic newspaper since 1997. It's also been in a few other Catholic papers and magazines, and in 2007, Twenty-Third Publications published a collection of The Flock cartoons entitled "Well-Drawn Faith."  Besides drawing The Flock, Jean has been a Catholic newspaper reporter, columnist, and illustrator for more than 25 years. A veteran parish catechist, former youth minister, wife, mother of three adult children, she holds a certificate in Christian spirituality from Loyola University of New Orleans.
