Author

Kathy Coffey is the author of 13 award-winning books and many articles in Catholic periodicals including America, U.S. Catholic, St. Anthony Messenger, Catholic Update, Everyday Catholic and National Catholic Reporter. She has won fifteen awards from the Catholic Press Association, the Foley Poetry Award from America magazine, the Independent Publishers Book Award, and the Associated Church Press Award for Editorial Courage.  Kathy has spoken at national conventions such as the L.A. Congress, NCCL, NCEA, NPM, and many diocesan gatherings. She gives retreats and workshops nationally and internationally. She taught for fifteen years at the University of Colorado, Denver, and Regis Jesuit University.  The mother of four, and grandmother of four, she lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is also the author of Grandparenting with Grace and A Project of Love: A Retreat for Couples Based on The Joy of Love, both published by The Pastoral Center.

Paul Canavese has his MTS from the Franciscan School of Theology in Berkeley.  He has served in a wide range of parish ministries, most recently as a pastoral consultant at Corpus Christi Parish in Piedmont, CA.  He is a frequent conference speaker and directs GospelLiving.org (focused on "intentional daily life Catholicism") and GrowingUpCatholic.com (focused on coaching parents). Paul also has 20 years of software development experience with technology startups.

Ann Naffziger has her MDiv from the Jesuit School of Theology and MA in Biblical Languages from the Graduate Theological Union, both in Berkeley.  Ann has worked in a variety of parish roles, as well as serving as a hospital chaplain, spiritual director, scripture instructor, and lecturer at the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University. She has written articles in the field of spirituality and scripture for AmericaBustedHalo.comCommonwealThe National Catholic ReporterSpiritual Life: A Journal of Contemplative Spirituality, and other publications. She is also a Master Gardener and girls' softball coach.
