This journal is designed to be used with the comprehensive book, Children and Christian Initiation: Leader Guide. It offers a place for children ages 7-10 to record their own participation in the initiation process. The colorful pages are reflective and engaging, inviting candidates and catechumens to express their thoughts through writing and drawing. Interactive and highly personal, the approach honors the individual’s spirituality, encourages personal ownership of the process and invites prayerful, reflective conversion.
This level of the journal may be adapted by catechists to use with older children with special needs or those for whom English is a second language.
